The title of my novel seems to be so appropriate in this world.
I remember years ago hearing a Duran Duran song called 'Too Much Information' and I was struck by the lyrics:
Even though that song was written years ago its message is still very relevant if not more so.
On TV today I watched a Sky News feature that discussed an article in The Times newspaper called "Digital giants are trampling on the truth". It was by Robert Thomson and he analysed the organizations
Google and facebook
But Trump is also a digital giant who tramples on the truth.
Look at the bottom of that above image. It's been shared by Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and reddit.
But perhaps we are all fakes...
Even the author name I use for my novel ‘Deprivations’ novel isn’t my personal name.
As for the main character in that novel…
The main woman featuring in it - Mahisa - adopts someone else’s name to become another person.
She almost forgets who she used to be until…
But then that’ll giving away the story.
