A taster of how important my novels are...
My 'Deprivations' novel is both a warning about social control, deriving from paranoia about the effects of chemical warfare, but also high lighting awareness of disability issues and transgenderism.
Disability issues are personal as I wear two hearing aids. But in my 'Deprivations' novel, I wanted to portray disabled people not as victims but with a greater understanding.
The situation about a transgender woman person in the book is also went to enhance understanding and to diminish any over-emphatic perceptions but rather to portray the significance of her character rather than her transgender identity.
This blog also is a prelude to my next recently published novel, 'The Ruler of Hell: The Devil's Sister'.
This book is not dysphoric, as 'Deprivations' is, but 'The Devil's Sister' is a demonstration how my writing can encompass present day and historical American factual issues with fantasy situations deriving from mythological writings.
This novel takes actual Jewish and Christian historical writings and interprets them in a distinctive and unique way.
I will discuss this novel more in my future blog entries.
