The recent sensational announcements of Trump authorizing a military strike upon airbases in Syria is dominating News broadcasts at the moment.
I'm certainly not criticizing this action. The use of chemical weapons is certainly a horrible and controversial aspect of warfare. Having said that, warfare in any description is awful.
Let's face it think about the recent features of Prince Harry echoing his mother's stance against disguised landmines left after wars in Africa. He showed how warfare can have terrible harmful effects upon innocents years later.
These things link with my 'Deprivations' novel where a giant sealed City has become shaped by paranoia and biological effects following chemical warfare.
Once again my novel shows links with reality.
The things I am concerned about are the after effects following this military strike by USA.
I heard on the radio about allegations this action will add warnings to North Korea and Iran about the dangers of them expanding their military (nuclear) power.
Actually I think this USA strike will increase their determination to enhance their military power.
Let's see what happens.
